Welcome to another season of CHOCKSETT Girl's Soccer! We will be holding an
informational meeting during AE on Wednesday along with the other fall sports
to go over schedules and the new district and state rules. An announcement
will be made during school for all interested in trying out to attend.
Tryouts will be held directly after school on FRIDAY, September 2nd and
TUESDAY, September 6th. Please read the following requirements that MUST be
complete before you can be allowed on the field.
1. A completed green card turned into and signed by the nurse.
2. A completed and up-to-date physical on file with the nurse.
3. A completed concusion training form signed by student and parent and
turned into the nurse.
NO athelete can compete without all three items turned into the nurse. No
exceptions will be made. Please plan accordingly.

A game at home has been added against Overlook. It will be played on October
20th on the lower fields.
Remember to bring WATER to each practice and game. Hydration is very
important to athlete health!
Girls should purchase WHITE socks before our next homegame on 9/23. Blue
socks will be provided to them by the team when the order arrives.

Here is the information for today's soccer game: The games will both be
played together (they have two fields) at 3:30pm and will be at Suata Fields
in Hudson, located at 539 Main St.

Today's Soccer games are CANCELLED due to weather. The makeup game will be
held on Monday, October 17th.

The soccer game today has been cancelled. There is no makeup date as of this
time. There WILL be practice today.
Girl's are playing FIRST tomorrow at Mountview.

We will be playing today at home against Overlook. We are still waiting to
hear if the girls play first or at the same time as the boys.
Overlook will NOT reschedule their home game. We are still waiting to hear
from Marlboro.

10/25/11 UPDATE 10/27 10am - new practice date
Marlboro has decided they will not try to make up the final game, ending our
season. It has been a great season for the team with much being accomplished
and excellent sportsmanship and leadership being shown by the girls. It has
been an honor to coach for the Eagles Girls Soccer team, thank you to the
athletes, parents and administrators who made the season possible!
Our final practice/party will be on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 1st. Athletes should
have their uniforms washed and returned to Coach DeMarco by then at the
latest. I had mentioned to the girls today that I was looking at Thursday
for the final gathering, but with the coming rain that is not possible. I
hope to see all the girls for some food, fun, and a farewell! We will meet
after school in Coach DeMarco's room.
