As parents, please see that your child has a quiet work space to complete
assignments. Assist them as they start out, keep checking in as they work,
and look over and SIGN EVERY completed written assignment. If your child becomes
frustrated after giving it their best effort, please make a note on the
assignment and I will be sure to review with your child in class.
Each Monday I will email you the Home Education Bulletin along with a quick
note of upcoming dates/events to be aware of. Assignments listed on the
Bulletin will come home on Monday night or nights prior to the due date. The
assignments are due the next day unless otherwise stated. Return Bulletin
EACH FRIDAY please. If you need a hard copy of the Weekly Bulletin sent in
your child's daily folder, please let me know.

From the Boxford Schools Handbook: Homework policy for Grade 2 states...
“Students will usually be assigned homework 3 to 4 times per week. Assignments
should be limited to 15 to 20 minutes in length. Students are expected to
read each night for 20 minutes minimum in addition to the assigned homework.
Continuous review of basic math facts is required.”
