Mary Anne York M.Ed.

I am very excited about teaching first grade for the 2008-2009 school year. 
Previously, I had been teaching kindergarten at the Cole School for the last
16 years and also in Wakefield, MA. where I grew up.  My first teaching
position was at the elementary school that I had gone to as a young student. 
What a fun experience it was to teach there! It has been a privilege and a
pleasure to be employed in the Boxford Public School System.  I received my 
undergraduate degree in education from Salem State College and my graduate
degree from Lesley University.  I have 3 grown daughters, Julie 20, Lisa 22,
and Jen 24.  My children enjoyed living and attending schools in Boxford for
16 years before I moved to Danvers.  I must admit that I do not miss 
the mosquitoes in Boxford, instead enjoying time spent walking and reading-
two of my favorite pastimes!  I look forward to getting to know my new
students and families every year!
