We have had a very busy beginning to our school year and everyone is now
settling into our daily routine. First grade is a major transition from
kindergarten. Even though most of the children attended school all day,
they are now responsible for their own supplies, desks, and books. They
must be more independent. Lockers are in the hall. The bathroom is shared
by seven other classes so it's important to remind your child not to play in
the bathroom.
New lunch price begins on Monday, September 15th: $2.00 (milk is still 50
cents) It's a big help if you send in correct change when your child is
buying lunch or milk. Please tell your child if he/she can buy dessert so
we'll know if the change should be sent home or used to purchase dessert.
Please remember that we take only 10 minutes for our snack time so only send
in one drink and one food item.
