Mrs. McSweeney
I have been teaching for over 22 years. I began my career as a preschool
teacher and since then have worked as a children's librarian, a Title I
teacher, and have taught grades 1, 2, and 3. I love teaching and my favorite
subjects are science, math, and reading.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education from Bridgewater State
College, a Masters Degree in Special Education from Lesley College, and a
Certificate of Advance Graduate Study from Fitchburg State College. Along
with Mrs. Claire Kelley, I plan the annual Family Math nights here at
Dennett. We also have presented these fun family math activities to other
communtities through teacher workshops and family curriculm nights.
I live in Halifax with my husband and best friend, Ed, and our cat, Sadie.
We are the proud parents of three children. They are all grown up and live
in Vermont, New Hampshire, and Massachusetts. We have two beautiful
grandchildren and we love getting together with our family. I love to read,
garden, kayak, ski,and walk on the beach.
