Announcements

There are students in our classroom with a severe allergy to peanuts and/or
nuts, egg products, and watermelon. Exposure to these products can result
in a life threatening reaction. Strict avoidance is the only way to prevent
a severe allergic reaction. A reaction may be brought on by the touch and
smell of these products as well as consuming them.

In an effort to allow all students to participate fully in classroom
activities, we ask that you DO NOT SEND IN ANY FOODS FOR YOUR CHILD'S SNACK
OR CLASSROOM PARTY THAT CONTAIN PEANUTS, NUTS, PEANUT/NUT OIL, EGG PRODUCTS,
OR WATERMELON.

BELOW IS A LIST OF SOME SUGGESTED SNACKS THAT DO NOT CONTAIN PEANUTS/NUTS.

Because lunch is eaten in the cafeteria, your child may bring peanut butter,
peanut/nut products, egg products, or watermelon for lunch.

We appreciate your support in this matter. If you have any questions,
please do not hesitate to contact the school.
