Welcome to a new week!! Miss Leek and Miss Varley are going to try and keep
our webpage updated to keep everyone informed on what is going on in our
classrooms. Just in case we are unable to update our web page make sure you
are writing in your agenda each night! :)
We are also going to be adding a link so you will be able order books
from Scholastic online. Make sure you check back on our page so you can order
online when it is up and running.

Make sure you are studying your spelling words from your spelling notebook.
The words are in your agenda. The words inside the spelling notebook are
going to be the ones you are tested on Friday!
*Please sit with your child on Mondays to make a plan for accomplishing
spelling homework in 3 nights.
*You should be reading at least 20 minutes each night in order to complete
your reading log!
We are beginning our new Science unit this week. We will be reviewing a lot
of Physical Science topics from previous years as well as learning some new
lessons.
In Math, we are beginning our measurement. This includes customary and metric
measurements for length, capacity and mass. We will also be learning how to
convert customary and metric measurements.
