About The Teacher

Mrs. Claire Kelley
I have a Bachelors Degree from Boston State College, a Masters Degree from
Lesley College, a Certificate of Advance Graduate Study from Fitchburg State
College. I have been trained in Orton Gillingham a specialized phonic
program.
I am married and have two children, Kara and Stephen. They are both married
and live nearby. I have a grandson named Noah and a granddaughter named
Hannah. I enjoy cooking, reading, and
playing golf although I can cook much better than I play golf.
I have been at Dennett for 17 years. I began as a Title One teacher for two
years, taught first grade for 5 years and the remainder has been as a
Kindergarten teacher.
I have a special love of Math. Along with Mrs. McSweeney, I plan the annual
Family Math nights here at Dennett. More recently, we have presented these
fun family math activities to other communtities as well.
I am the Vice-President of the Plympton Teachers' Association. I participate
in the District wide Curriculum Committee, Report Card Committee, and the
Full Day Kindergarten Committee

Mrs. Donna Resmini

After earning a Bachelor's Degree from Boston College I began my
professional career as a first grade teacher in Marion MA, then as a full
day kindergarten teacher in a private school. I have had the pleasure of
being at the Dennett since 1986. I taught kindergarten for 12 years before
being double promoted to second grade which I taught for seven years. As
much as I loved being in second grade, I am thrilled to be teaching full day
kindergarten.

I live in Rochester with my husband, Joe, who is also a teacher, my son
Dana, 15, and my daughter Nina, 12. I am a member of the Rochester School
Committee. I enjoy cooking, reading, spending time with my family and
friends and following the Red Sox, especially when they're winning!
