March PTO meeting will take place on Monday, March 3 from 6 - 8 pm in the
Teacher's Room. This month we welcome School Committee Member, Linda
Crosby who will be there to talk about next year's budget. We hope you
will join us!
The EES PTO Online Auction is in Full Swing!

our database of items to auction off in April. We are on track for another
successful auction thanks to the generosity of our donors!

we will continue to email the donation form via PTO email blasts and ‘backpack
Thursday’ mailings. The completed form can be left in the PTO mailbox or
emailed to Amanda Kuhl at email@example.com.
The form is currently online at www.essexpto.com. If
you would like to give the same donation as last year, no need to complete the
form, just let us know. Gift cards, homemade treats, vacation homes and pet
sitting are examples of gifts from past years. We need donations in ALL price
ranges to reach our goal.
the classes are all busy putting together ideas for their class gift –the most
beloved items at our auction! Parents may be asked to help put a project
together or make a product or financial donation toward a gift basket. If you
would like to get involved or need more information about what your class is
doing, please contact your room parent.
a volunteer request via Sign Up Genius went out earlier this week. We need
people to call or visit potential donors, drivers to pick up donations and
deliver them to our storage location at 15 Apple Street and volunteers to
distribute prizes after the auction ends.
the fun with your faraway friends and relatives – Because our
auction is online only, out of town relatives and friends are welcome to
browse, bid and win at our auction! Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and family
friends can all support our school without buying a ticket or attending an
event. Last year, one of our most active bidders was an EES student’s
grandfather in Wisconsin! Please start thinking about who you will ask to join
EES PTO Online Auction runs from April 8 – April 17. Our goal is to raise
$18,000 to directly benefit the students in all grades at Essex Elementary. For
