HOCKOMOCK AREA YMCA - The Invensys Foxboro YMCA has a variety of programs
including Sports, Gymnastics, Dance, Aquatics and other activities designed

CHILDREN'S BEREAVEMENT -
Kid's Club is a children's bereavement program designed to help children,
ages 5-13, deal with the loss of a parent,sibling, grandparent, aunt,
uncle, friend, classmate or other significant person in their life.
Children participate in activities such as crafts, fabric painting, creating
momory books and sharing. A supportive, understanding atmosphere and snack
are provided. Registration is currently being accepted for our next program
to be held on Saturday, May 19th from 9:30am - 12:00pm at the
Community VNA, 10 Emory Street in Attleboro.

THE COMPASSIONATE FRIENDS - The Compassionate Friends is a non-profit self-
help bereavement organization offering friendship,understanding, and hope to
families that have experienced the death of a child. To learn of services

WEIGHT MANAGEMENT FOR CHILDREN at Norwood Hospital - Special exercise and
nutrition program for overweight children. A physician referral and parental
involvment are required. Call 781-278-6255 for more information.

CPR CLASSES - The Foxboro Company sponsors CPR classes. Call Kathy Costa at
Invensys at 508-549-3258 for more information.

ADD/ADHD Support Group: The Parents of ADD/ADHD Kids (PAK) serves the
surrounding communities and all parents and guardians of children with
ADD/ADHD. Meetings formally held at the library have been suspended as the
library is moving temporatily. For more information contact

STUDENT FOOD ALLERGY GROUP - The Southeastern Massachusetts Food Allergy
Group meets monthly and hosts a parent support group at Pediatric
Specialists, 132 Central St. Suite 116, Foxboro (enter rear of building).
(Exit 7B of Rt. 95 at Route 140 North).
The next meeting is Thur. March 15. The guest speaker will be Linda Mealey RN;
a school nurse in Foxboro. Learn about school policies and procedures. 
Meetings are at 7pm; are free, and pre-registration is

per day/7 days per week. Calls are anonymous and confidential. There are
weekly ongoing support groups available also.
