Welcome to fourth grade! My name is Miss Bechtel and I am thrilled to be
working here at the Hansen with such wonderful children and a talented group
of colleagues. I graduated from Stonehill College in 2006 with a bachelor's
degree in Elementary Education and Psychology. After graduation, I worked
at the Plouffe School in Brockton as a teacher's assistant in a 4th grade
inclusion classroom. After that, I was hired here in Stougton as a permanent
substitute teacher for a third grade classroom at the Gibbons School. This
is my third year at the Hansen. I look forward to a year
filled with fun and learning!
To provide an environment where children can grow academically, socially,
and emotionally, and have a little fun in the process. It is my hope that
children will put forth their best effort, challenge themselves, and work
toward independence. After all, "A good teacher is one who makes herself
progressively unnecessary."
