The worldwide critique of language is a conversation that continually takes
place between people of all cultures, citizenships, ages, genders,
sexuality, religious beliefs and economic status. This conversation happens
in our everyday dialogue, blogs, reading, academic journals, book reviews,
debate, facebook, myspace....you name it, the conversation about language is
there. In our classroom, we analyze our language and the knowledge that
comes from understanding it in order to contribute to that international
dialogue and therefore grow within ourselves.
