I live in Natick with my husband. We have four grown children who are doing wonderful things around
the world. We also have two cats and a very large, friendly, Newfoundland dog. When I am not in school
I enjoy reading, solving math puzzlers, water color painting, knitting, swimming, and working in
my garden. And yes, I did once have a pet alligator!
A friend of mine who is a mathematician has a sign in his office above the
door that says that no one who is in his office may leave without learning more
about mathematics. That sentiment is shared by all who enter and leave room
