Dear Parents:

Spelling words for next week all have consonant blends. The first 5 have an "l" blend and the second 5 have an "r" blend (YES, there are 10 words): la glissade, le sable, la flèche, les blocs, il pleut, le tigre, le fruit, le dragon, le frère, trop.

We'll practice the words in school for the test on Friday but you should also have your child practice at home.

Today I am sending home a letter about a walk to the town Library. Please read it and return the permission form. Let me know if you can walk with us. After the walk we will all eat together in the school's courtyard. Unfortunately, if the weather isn't good we won't be doing this.

Also attached is the last Arc-en-ciel order form. I'll need it back by next Friday when I'll call the order in. This should be enough time for delivery before the last day of school.

I'm glad you've been able to borrow my copies of "Beatrice's Goat" as we get into our second week of Read to Feed. There's still plenty of time.
