Letter Bags
Each week our class will be introduced to a new letter of the alphabet. To help reinforce the letters/sounds being studied and to provide students with sharing opportunities, your child will be asked to find an item at home that begins with letter being presented in class. This object is to be placed in a small paper bag and three clues are to be written on the bag about the secret item. Please help your child to write these clues.
Week of 5/21 - We have now covered all 26 letters of the alphabet. Next week we will began our review of vowels Aa & Ii. If your child would like to bring a letter bag to share, that would be terrific. If they really want to trick us or "stump" the class, have them bring a letter bag with Aa or Ii as the medial sound.
