Share and celebrate your memoir with the world!
Choose one of these options to publish your final memoir.
1. Read aloud in class - done!
2. Submit to Omnibus:- Proofread your memoir one last time. Save it as a Word document with your name in the file name.
- Email Mrs. Bailey: baileym@holliston.k12.ma.us
- Subject = Omnibus submission
- In the email, write Mrs. Bailey a note. Tell her a little bit about your memoir. Here is the place to request an Anonymous by-line if you wish. Sign your name. (Your name needs to be on your memoir, even if publishing anonymously.)
- Attach your memoir file.

3. Submit to a website:
- Proofread your memoir one last time.
- Read the Submission Guidelines and any Writing Tips on the website - and make sure you apply them - before submitting.
—Teen Ink (requires a free log-in – submit online)
—Frodo’s Notebook (ages 13-19 – email submissions)
—Submission Guidelines (“Creative/Personal Essay” – if there’s a strong reflection of your personal code) —The Writers’ Slate (email submissions)
—Figment (a writers’ forum to share and comment on work – requires a free log-in – post online)
4. Submit to a magazine:
- Proofread your memoir one last time.
- Read the Submission Guidelines and any Writing Tips on the website - and make sure you apply them - before submitting.
- Send your submission by method requested (email or print).
- If you need to mail your memoir, print a clean copy with the appropriate heading for the magazine, and bring it to Ms. Cassidy to set up an envelope, postage, etc.
