This site has been created for my students and their parents. The students
will be able to share with family what we have been doing in class. Parents
will be able to get important information about us and our classroom.
We will learn about ourselves and how we can be friends. Then we
will "meet" new friends. We will learn through our reading, artwork, music,
science, engineering, math and writing.
Please remember it is always good to read to your children at home. It
really fosters many great things in young children! They will learn to love
reading through you and how you see reading in your life!
Practice writing first and last names with a capital and lower case letters.
Practice number names (especially teen numbers); look for patterns in the
environment; count groups of objects; take notice of how numbers are
written; talk about how much room liquids take up in different containers in
the refrigerator (volume)...
