I will be out of school on December 1st, 2nd, and 3rd due to my son's surgery on his other knee
(formerly known as his good knee!) I will not know my son's prognosis until directly after the
surgery. There is a possibility I may be out the entire week, or I may be back earlier.
I have prepared plans for both my math and special education students so that all may remain on
track.
There is a direct correlation between the children who DO their HOMEWORK and the grades on
quizzes and tests. There is no disputing the fact that students who spend time on Math every
night do better than their peers who do not. Homework is checked for completeness and effort. If
homework is done, the students receive credit for "done." If homework is not turned in on the
day it is due, the students have earned a "not done." The 5th and 6th grade team continue to
hold the students to a high standard of responsibility, and most have risen to the challenge.
I am available just about every day after school, and some mornings by appointment.
