When is Mrs. Smith's extra help day?

Mondays and Tuesdays

What materials do I need to bring to class everyday?

You will need to bring your 1-inch binder, index cards, completed 
homework, workbook, 
pencils, and calculator.

What if I don't understand the homework assignment?

Review your in-class notes or READ your workbook or textbook.  
Try an odd problem and 
look up the answer in the back of the book.  Skip that section of 
problems 
and move on to another section of the homework.

If I am absent, how do I get my work that I missed?

You can always check the website for your homework.  On your day 
of return 
to school, you will receive a "While you were out..." 
packet that lets you 
know what you missed in class.

How does Mrs. Smith grade?

Daily homework will be checked everyday - everyone starts off 
with a "100" 
grade.  5 points will be deducted for each missed assignment, 2 
points for 
an incomplete.  Homework will count as a test grade at the end of 
the term.
Mid-chapter quizzes will count once.
End of chapter tests will count twice
Binder checks will count once
Projects, presentations, writing assignments will also be included
