Mrs. Caverly and Mr. Baker both wear two hats at Fiske. In addition to teaching 5th grade, Mrs. Caverly
is a Reading Specialist and Mr. Baker is the Assistant Principal.
We both love teaching 5th grade and we consider it a privilege to work in a community with such
supportive families and motivated students.
We promise to make each day entertaining and enriching for every students.
"If you know what you don't know then you know something, but if you don't know what you don't
know then you don't know anything"
Meaning, it is important to understand what it is that you are having trouble with in order to improve.
This being the case, we will be helping your children to assess their own work to identify where they are
having trouble. This will be done with writing assignments, assessment reviews and daily assignments.
Together we will break down their understanding and learn to be specific in what they need to work on.
