What do you to celebrate birthdays in Ms. Zbikowski's class?

All Lexington classrooms now have food free celebrations. In order to
recognize birthdays in Room 184, children may either bring in a small item to
hand out to classmates (pencils, erasers, stickers...), donate a book to the
classroom or school library, or have an extra “Birthday Recess," class game,
or a special story read.

What is the best way to contact Ms. Zbikowski?

You can send in a note with your child, call Fiske and leave a voice mail
message or email kzbikowski@sch.ci.lexington.ma.us. Please remember that
information of a sensitive nature should not be discussed over email.

What happens if a child forgets to do or bring in homework?

The worse thing that will happen is that Ms. Zbikowski will say, "Bring it in
tomorrow." If homework is not turned in for three days in a row, it must be
completed at recess. If you are home sick you are not expected to complete
your homework. If you do forget your homework you should tell Ms. Zbikowski to
show you are being responsible.

What do I do if I need to pick my child up early?

You should send a note to school with your child. When you come to Fiske to
pick up your child, you must go to the office and tell them why you are here
and to sign your child out of school. The office will call down to the
classroom and your child will meet you in the office.
