Room 108 Update

Greetings Room 108 Families! 

We have been very busy in first grade over the month of January. 
I want to give you a little preview of February and ask for your help with a few items.

1.  Friday is Patriot's Day!  Your child can wear their Patriots Gear, any football clothes, or red, white and blue to support The Patriots in the Superbowl.  We will be doing lots of fun football activities in class this week.

2. Wednesday, February 8th is the 100th Day of School as long as there are no snow days between now and then. I am asking each child to bring in a display of 100 items.  The items should be glued/taped down on paper so we can display them around the room/hallways.  Some ideas that the children have done in the past are stickers, play money, paper clips, and rubber bands.   Please refrain from using food in these displays.  Thank you for your help.  These should come in on the 100th Day.  Let's hope it will stay the 8th.

3.  Valentine's Day is on Tuesday, February 14th.  We will have a class celebration on that day.  If your child would like to send in Valentines, they can do so at any time after February 7th.  If your child is giving out Valentines, please be sure that they have one for each classmate.  I will send home a class list in the folder to help with this project.
