Bennett is dragging the singular noun through the “magic” hat” to reveal the spelling of the plural noun.

Emma is dragging a mathematical expression into the right area, depending on whether the sum or difference is closer to zero, one, or two. If she drags it into the correct “container” it stays. If she drags it into the wrong one, it pops back.

Clara is “painting” the adjectives red.

Zach is demonstrating how students are picked for certain tasks. He is “pulling” sticks out of a cup with students’ numbers on them.

Students are using the Activotes to show their understanding of the lesson. Once everyone has pressed A, B, or C on their hand-held devices, the class can see the tallied results.

Hannah is modeling how to add and subtract fractions using pattern blocks. The blocks can be moved and rotated on the board.
