I love teaching and I love Memorial School. I began my learning experience at Memorial as a student,
and I returned as a teacher in 1973. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education with a major
in Early Childhood Education. I have a master's degree in Special Education. During my tenure, I have
taught kindergarten, special education and first grade. I am a life long learner. Every school year brings
new students, great excitement, and a new adventure. I am married, a mother of three and a
grandmother. Beyond spending time with my grandson, I have recently begun taking classes in jewelry
making.
My mission is to provide an engaging, challenging, learning community where we all respect and care
about each other. We will use the golden rule to create an environment of respect where all students
will be able to try their best in all that they do, and develop a love for learning.
