My child is having trouble with the homework , what should I do?

Please don't force your child to complete all of the homework if they are
having difficulty with it. I would rather have them do a good job on part of
it, rather than struggle through the whole thing and have them be upset.
Please just send in a note with the homework so that I know what happenend.
Also, if there is ever a time
where they are sick or too tired to complete the homework, please send in a
note explaining the reason and it wil be excused. I don't want this to
become a habit but once in a while is fine. If the homework is too hard for
your child please tell me so that I can modify it for them.

My child flies through their math homework, what should I do?

You can always make up more challenging math problems for your child at home
to work on. After their math homework you can have them practice their
addition and subtraction facts. If they are confident with those then move
on to time, money, or multiplication. Please keep in mind though that the
math homework is a review of the days work not an introduction of new
material.
