The school committee has adopted a new Wellness Policy for the Medfield
Public schools. As part of the wellness committee we have asked for the
staff to be "thoughtful about the use of food as a reward or teaching tool."
If everyone makes a small change in their routine we will see a difference.
When choosing snack food, a 100% fruit juice has vitamins and minerals that
growing bodies need. Fruits, sliced vegetables, cheese and crackers,
pretzels, rice cakes and popcorn make wonderful choices for snack foods.
Please consider sending in food with your children that energize the mind
and body.
