printmaking 4th grade

Students created pencil lines on
a surface of foam board. The
board was then inked using block
printing ink with a brayer.
Multiple images were made by
reapplying ink and printing in
another area of the paper.
Students embellished their work
using tempera cakes.

shadow shape light 5th grade

Students imagined what a shape
would look like if light was
projected on the form, thus
causing a shadow to appear as
well. Cray-pas were used for
color information.

wallpaper idea 5th grade

Students expanded a small
wallpaper swatch including line,
color and shape. Tempera cakes
were used for color.
