Our field trip to Southwick Zoo is this Thursday May 24th. Please remember to
pack a paper bag lunch for your child that contains lunch, a disposable drink
or two! Please put items in disposable bags or containers as the chaperones
will be carrying the lunches in a backpack or bag, and lunch boxes etc. are
too bulky to fit. Remember to apply sunscreen at home and to have your child
wear comfortable walking shoes.
Our caterpillars did change into the painted lady butterflies and we released
them last week!
The kindergarten RAH (Read At Home)program continues in the classroom.
Children may choose a book to take home and read to their family for a few
days. When they are ready to choose a new book they can bring it in and
choose a different book for their at home reading! Some of us have been
reading many books! FYI: I will continue for a few more weeks but soon I will
be stopping in order to collect all books for the summer.
Please note days on the calendar for upcoming June events. As we approach the
dates I will send home more specific information.
