This week we will be starting the "Special Person" in  our 
classroom. Each week we will choose a special person of the 
week. They will bring in a “book” about “Me” that they have completed 
at home. This book they will share with their friends at school. With 
the "book" is a classroom estimating container. Each special person 
will put something in the container for the week. The class will 
estimate the number of items in the container at the end of the week 
and then we will count the items and see who came closest with their 
guess. Our first special person is:
