*  Define new vocabulary words:

o     Insincere

o     Incredulous

o     Transcend

*  Poem of Address

o     Read example

o     Write your own to those who endured the massive power outages and ice storm

*  Read p. 145-156

o     Update character chart- including third column

*  Homework:  Reader’s Response #7

Tuesday, January 6th     

 

*  Read Note Poem Example and write your own Note Poem

*  Finish reading Bronx Masquerade

o     Update character chart- including third column

*  Share Mr. Shaw’s found poem

*  Think- Pair- Share a found poem that represents the theme of the novel

*  Homework:  Write your own found poem

*  Read from Bronx Masquerade and update character chart

o     Pass in Found Poems

o     Pass in Entertainment article

*  Meet with Newspaper groups

o     You should have:

§       4 articles for each section

§       4 pictures for each section

o     Delegate front page- all to be typed:

§       Title

§       Date

§       Price

§       “Editors”

§       Contents of Paper

§       Etc.

*  Homework:  Work on long term assignments

o     Missing Blogmeister Postings!!!

o     Weather article rewrites due by tomorrow

o     Open Mike tomorrow

o     Shakespeare presentations due tomorrow
