I'm a regular guy who happens to be a history geek. I actually enjoy
watching the History Channel (except for all that "Swamp People" & "Ice Road
Pizza Delivery Dudes"). (Go figure)
In my past life I've worked for the Department of Youth Services - In a
juvenille detention center for violent offenders.
For the past twenty years, I've been an assistant football coach at Auburn,
Quabbin and Leicester high schools, now I'm the coach of the WRSD Middle
School Football team.
My education consists of both an Undergraduate and Masters degree from
Worcester State College. I guess I'm proud to say "I'm a double Lancer."
Mountview is my first and only teaching position having begun in the
classroom in the fall of 2001.
We will learn not only about long dead ancient civilizations but we will
explore our connection to those unique and dynamic societies. What makes us
civilized? What is our connection to the past? We will flow from the
beginning of time through the mightiest Empire of all time, Rome. All the
way we will engage in entertaining yet educational endeavours.
