Welcome parents and students!
As you all probably know by now, our family has decided to move away from
Holden, and despite our best efforts to avoid interfering with the school
year, my last day in the classroom is Friday, November 13th. I loved teaching
every one of these students this year! Teaching at Mountview has been a
wonderful experience, and I've enjoyed all five years very much. I will miss
this kind, caring and creative group of students and especially the wonderful
staff we have at this school. I hope to become a frequent visitor!
I am pleased to announce that the new teacher on the 6 Gold team will be Miss
Johnson who comes highly trained and highly recommended. She will continue
with Reader's Workshop and many of the other activities we already have in
place for the school year. Until she can start here on December 7th, Mrs.
Brothers will be our substitute. I have full confidence in her ability to
continue and manage our classroom activities. She will continue to use this
website and consult with me as needed.
Our classroom is always in need of certain supplies like tissues, hand
sanitizer, glue sticks, interesting writing paper, art supplies, etc. If you
would like to be helpful please consider donating to our supplies!
We are still accepting used books in good condition! It's a great way to
recycle old books! We love our classroom library!
Feel free to contact Mrs. Knight by snailmail or email should you have any
questions, concerns or comments. I'll reply as soon as I can!
