Homework This Week

 
I plan to update this page every Monday with our Work for the Week.  Please 
check here frequently for updates.

January 5th:  Finish the rough draft of the Storm Story you began during class today.  Your rough draft 
should be at least 3 paragraphs long.  Tell your story about the Ice Storm of 2008!
**If you did not pass in your alliteration poem due Dec. 12th please pass it in tomorrow.
**If you have not interviewed a family member for your heritage essay yet, please plan to complete it by 
Thursday, January 15th.

January 6th:  Continue working on the Egypt Game questions.  Complete what you can.  Reread what 
you need to in order to remember the characters and plot.

January 7th:  Continue working on Egypt Game questions to the best of your ability.

January 8th:  Review for the Egypt Game final test (test on Friday Jan. 9th).  Bring your notes and study 
guide packets to the test.  Pass in the book you borrowed tomorrow, too.

January 9th:  Finish your biography note card for Monday's book chat.  Bring your biography with you to 
class on Monday along with your completed note card.  Be prepared to talk about this book using your 
note card as a guide.

January 12th:  Finish typing your Storm Story narrative.

January 13th:  If you need more time to type your Storm Story try to finish tonight.   Due tomorrow.  
**Prepare for tomorrow's field trip.

January 14th:  Field trip to Framingham State College today!  Regular transportation to and from school.  
Bring a bag lunch and dress for the weather!
**Bring your heritage interview notes and open response writing to class tomorrow.  This should be 
completed by Jan. 15th.

January 15th:  Begin writing the heritage essay based on your notes.  Use the paragraph templates.

January 16th:  Continue working on your heritage essay.
