FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

  • Team task--Birthday lineup/ seating
  • Housekeeping items--fire exits, expectations, agenda, supplies (see supply page of this website), homework, handbook
  • Journal Prompt #1--Write about the first day of school.  What did you think/feel/expect before you came here to school, when you got to school and how has it all worked out now?

Thursday September 4th-

    •  Finish Journal prompts as needed
    • More housekeeping--classroom jobs, classroom tour
    • Creating a 'Comfy' Classroom with R&R --group work to define respect and responsibility and possible classroom rules

Friday September 5th-

    • Begin rough draft of bio-poem
    • Peer edit
    • Work on final draft of bio-poem

Monday September 8th-

    • Summer Reading Quiz

Tuesday September 9th-

    • Continue respect and responsibility/ creating rules from last Thursday
    • Group meetings/ class decision
