Wish List

We are asking that families curb their generosity of gift giving.  The generous spirit is very much appreciated; however, there are many children who are not in a position to give.  These children end up feeling left out and diminished because they are not able to give and yet have to watch others do so. If the spirit of giving is pressing you, it would be of greater benefit if families could contribute to materials we use in the classroom.  Below I have created a wish list to help guide donations.  I thank you in advance for helping to preserve the tender feelings of our children.  The greatest gift is the time I have with your children and your support at home.

For our classroom:
  • saltines for those without snacks
  • pencils
  • erasers
  • Legos (we are trying to begin collecting them; hand-me-downs are welcomed)
  • plastic spoons
  • ziplock freezer bags; gallon size and quart
  • biography of a person from the Colonial Period (1600 and 1700s), children's reading level
