This week will lend to the completion of Chapter 4 in Sound and Light. We
will complete our lessons regarding Color, The Eye, and Appications of Light.
We will learn about the differences between colored light and colored
pigments. We will study the structure and funtion of the eye, and learn
exactly how each part functions with the other to help us see. We will take
what we know about mirrors and lenses and apply it towards understanding how
telescopes, microscopes, and lasers work.
We will top the week off with a dissection of a cow's eye. Please see me
if you will be unable to complete the dissection. I will provide an alternate
assignment to compensate for any missed labs.
We will close our class time before the Thanksgiving Break with our
Chapter 4 Test, to assess what we have learned about light. Please see me
Mondays and Fridays after school for extra help, should you need.
