Mrs. Kellner is enjoying her fourteenth year as the librarian at Peaslee School.
Her favorite part of her job is matching the right book to the right student.
When she is not at school she enjoys reading (of course!!), hiking, biking,
cooking, baking, zentangling and ice cream!!
The Peaslee School Library meets the needs of the entire Peaslee community--
students, staff and families. The library serves a dual purpose--both as a
classroom and as a library providing resources for curricular and personal
reading needs. The library curriculum itself includes information literacy,
literature appreciation and library skills. Collaborative projects with
classroom teachers are encouraged.
The library is open from 8:50 to 3:20. It is closed during the librarian's
lunch and duty periods. Please see "Schedules" links for scheduled classes and
Open Library Time.
Volunteers provide valuable support to the library. The primary duties of the
volunteers are circulation (checking books in and out), reshelving books,
shelf reading and assisting students with the location of library materials.
As with all Peaslee School volunteers, library volunteers require CORI checks.
