Music lessons are scheduled during the school day on a rotating basis. This is done to keep students from being pulled out from the same part of the school day each week. There is one 30 minute lesson each week, and the lesson is on the same day of the week for the entire year. Students are grouped in small groups of 2-4 students.

Students will receive their schedule from their classroom teacher on or before Monday, September 19. Lessons for beginners will begin the week of September 19. The majority of beginners will have their lessons on Tuesday or Friday. Students should bring their instrument to their first lesson assuming that they have an instruemnt already, but should come regardless of whether they have their instrument or not.

Students are responsible for knowing and remembering their lesson times. Students can be called to the music room if they forget, but instructional time is lost.
