Beginning Band will begin rehearsing Friday, January 6, 2012. This way, students will have 3
full months of playing experience before attempting to play together as a group.

Rehearsals take place every Wednesday and Friday unless there is no school, a snow delay, or
a scheduled delayed opening. Rehearsal starts at 8AM in the cafeteria. Students should arrive 5-
10 minutes early to help set up the chairs and music stands.

The Beginning Band will put on a concert in June for the entire school and one at night for family and friends. This is the highlight of the whole year where you get to show off what you've learned!
