Entry Requirements:
Name
of country (clearly written)
Minimum
of
10-12 sentences of written text (paragraphs, captions, or bullets)*
At
least
4-5 hand-drawn illustrations,
drawings or visuals
A
map of the continent of study (or the world) with the country highlighted
Fill
up the page – do not leave a lot of empty space
Typed
or handwritten
Each
scrapbook page should also:
Be
carefully edited for all 6th grade givens – spelling,
capitalization, grammar, punctuation and usage
Show
considerable creativity and effort
Be
colorful and visually appealing
Be
neat and legible; “friendly” to your reader

of the country’s landscape, geography or physical features
Information
about the native people including language, religion or daily lifestyle
Words
or phrases in the country’s language
Songs
(lyrics) native to the country
Quotes
about the country or by a native of the country
Interesting
