6th Grade Math Strategies
This is my first year at Susan B. Anthony Middle School. Last year I taught
high school at The Learning Center for the Deaf in Framingham, MA. At TLC I
taught math, chemistry, and several elective classes. I graduated from
Boston University with a BS in Deaf Studies. I am currently working on my
masters in Math Education, also at Boston University.
Fun facts:
• I love penguins, chocolate, and math (of course).
• I grew up on the West Coast.
• I know American Sign Language.
• I can solve the Rubik's Cube in about 5 - 10 minutes.
Class Goals:
• Improve understanding of math concepts.
• Apply and analyze math concepts in real world situations.
• Master the concepts and skills of the Massachusetts State Standards.
