Shahi Visual Dictionary: Gives a definition, and a bunch of pictures from either Google Images, Yahoo, or Flikr. A great way to visualize the meaning of a word (and, hopefully, increase your understanding of it).
 
Visuwords Graphical Dictionary: This site gives a visual representation for a word's meanings (if there's more than one), and shows its relationships to synonyms, antonyms, and more. It's sort of like a deluxe dictionary/thesaurus combined.
 
Wordsift.com: Allows you to enter a peice of text. It then creates a "word cloud" from the text, with words that appear most showing up in larger type. It's a great way to help figure out the meaning of a passage. Wordsift also lets you click on a word in the cloud, and get its definition, along with pictures, and graphical definitions.

TeenReads.com: Offers tons of information about books for young adults on any topic. Check out author interviews, features on award winning books, see reviews, and much, much more!
 
A.C. Whelan Library Media Center: This link takes you to the closest thing the SBA has to a library. Find books, search online databases, and get generally useful info!!! The searchable databases are especially helpful in finding reliable, fact-checked information for research projects.
