Welcome Back!

We hope you enjoyed a restful summer visiting with family and friends. As we get ready for school to begin, we are starting our annual PTO Membership Drive.   We hope that all of our Rockport school families will become members of Rockport PTO and enjoy all of the activities that we have planned throughout the school year.  Our goal this year is to get 100% family enrollment.

To remind you about what the PTO accomplishes:

Rockport PTO is a volunteer organization dedicated to enriching and providing supplemental educational activities to all students.  PTO’s mission is to provide programs and activities that enrich the student’s core learning as well as assisting with communications between families, the school and the community. 

 

Rockport PTO assists in funding various educational elements and activities for students, teachers and staff that are not included in the school’s annual budget.  The funding for these various elements and activities is made possible from the various PTO fundraising efforts including our membership drive. 

 

Rockport PTO relies on our members’ willingness to volunteer their time and skills to assist in the various programs and activities.  We hope that you will consider attending the monthly PTO meetings (see calendar provided) and helping the PTO throughout the school year. 

 

 So, please join or renew your membership during our September Membership Drive and stay informed with our newsletters and emails.  For more information about the PTO and scheduled events, visit our website frequently as new items are posted throughout the school year.  Also, you’ll find a complete list of PTO officers and grade representatives.
