BASEBALL: Sat. June 2 Rockport vs Mystic Valley @Malden Catholic HS - 4pm

SOFTBALL: Sat.June 2 North Shore/O'Bryant winner at Rockport - 4pm

FALL Parent/Athlete Meeting will take place on Mon. June 4 at 6:30pm in Auditorium. Review of policies, NEW registration procedure and individual sport meetings with coaches to go over tryout schedules.

Rockport Athletic Department is partnering with Harmeling Physical Therapy. During the spring season, a Physical Therapist will be available at the high school (Cam-Star Room) on Monday's (2:30-3:30) and Friday's (4:00-5:00) to evaluate injuries. Athletes can also be seen for evaluation in the Gloucester office by contacting us to schedule an appointment. Every effort will be made to see the athlete on the same day. This service is available to all Rockport students and parents with athletic injuries.

All paperwork must be handed in prior to participating - physical examination, completed authorization form and user fee.  Information and forms can be found at www.rockport.k12.ma.us

To register for one of our athletic teams, all of the following must be received by the athletic office PRIOR to participating:

*a USER FEE check made payable to R.H.S. Athletic Revolving Account

*a PHYSICAL EXAM given within the last 13 months

*AUTHORIZATION FOR TREATMENT /PARENTAL APPROVAL  FORM signed and dated by the athlete and a parent/guardian

*CONCUSSION AWARENESS FORM signed and dated by the athlete and a parent/guardian.

USER FEES FOR 2011-2012:

• $300 for all high school teams, except ice hockey
• $350 for ice hockey (applies to Rockport, Manchester/Essex & Ipswich players)
• $250 for middle school students on high school teams
• $200 for middle school sports and winter cheering
• $450 for Manchester/Essex football and swim teams
• $350 for Gloucester Girls Gymnastics and Boys Tennis
• $105 for middle school intramural floor hockey

**Athletes who play on a Rockport team and a Manchester/Essex or Gloucester co-op team must pay BOTH user fees.
