Dear Parents/Caregivers:
Would you like to be a volunteer? You may be surprised at the ways you can
help and how much fun
you can have doing it. Don't worry about how much time you can give or how
regularly you can
come. We'll work something out.
The following is a list of some of the ways you may wish to volunteer your
time. Please check the
areas where you would like to help and return this form to school with your
child. I will contact you
as the need arises to see if you are available.
The following help is needed immediately!
We are looking for volunteers to be room parents for KH (probably two or three
parents). A representative from the PTO can give you more information on this,
but basically it entails things like coordinating various events/activities
for KH throughout the year like parent breakfasts and Kindergarten Poetry
Night, assisting classroom teachers with projects that we may need assistance
with, and serving as a communication link between the teachers and parents of
KH. Please let me know if you are interested! Thank you for your cooperation
and interest.

There will be additional things that our classroom will need and more ways to
volunteer throughout
the year. We will let you know how when the time arises.
FYI – All parents/caregivers are required to fill out a CORI (criminal record
check) form. This is a
simple yet important process that all volunteers need to go through and pass
in order to volunteer in
the classroom or assist with any activities or field trips. This form is
available in the office. Please
make sure that you fill this form out and deliver it to the office well in
advance, in order to ensure we
follow along with school procedures.
