Science - Plants and Seeds

Our science unit, Plant Growth and Development, is an 8 week
unit during which the students experience the complete life cycle of a plant.
They will learn about growth, development of specialized parts, and death with
new life in the seed. Students plant seeds and observe the growth of the
plants. Their observations include measuring the plant, and writing about and
drawing the changes they notice. Students will be pollinating their plants
using beesticks they make in class.
