Homework

Homework February 9, 2009:

Reading: Read 30 min. 
Math: page 33
Spelling: page 82
Social Studies: 5 Pictures due for Things to Do and See Section- Due Friday 
Writing: Typing 5 paragraphs due Thursday 


Homework Policy:

   4th graders have an average of 45 minutes of homework each night. 
Homework will be checked each day. Three missed homeworks will result in a 
call home.If students complete all of the homework assignments for one 
month, they will receive a free homework pass which can be used on most 
homework assignments. 
   
   There will be weekly spelling quizzes on Fridays. Students should be 
studying their spelling words each night. Students should also be reading at 
least 30 minutes each night in addition to their written homework. 
  
   If at any time you are unclear about an assignment or have questions 
about your child’s work, please contact me by email. 
    
Handy Homework Helpers:
  All homework should be completed in pencil
  All work must be labeled with your name and the date
  Your work should be neatly and carefully written so that it is easy to read
  Keep your homework clean and unwrinkled
  Be sure to check and edit your work
  When writing, be sure to use your own words
  Remember to always do your best
