This is my 13th year as a Kindergarten Teacher at Shaker Lane School--
my "Dream Job". I have been involved in Early Childhood Education
since my two sons, Brendan and Kelan, were born over 20 years ago. As a
parent, I was on the Board of Directors at their cooperative nursery schools
in LeCannet, France and Chelmsford, MA.
I attended courses and became a Nursery School Teacher at The Barn
Cooperative Nursery School in Concord, MA where I taught for six years. At
the Barn, I was a co-teacher for a mixed age group of 3-5 year old children;
I taught the After Kindergarten class; and was acting Co-Director for two
years.
I left the Barn to attend Rivier College, where I earned my Bachelor Degree
in Human Development/Early Childhood Education/Special Education. I have a
Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education from Fitchburg State College.
As a parent and an early childhood educator, I learned the value of parent
participation in the classroom and each year look forward to creating healthy
learning environments for children.
To provide a caring, safe, learning environment that:

growth which enables them to reach their full potential.
~~enables the staff, the parents and family members of our Kindergarten

all members of our Kindergarten Team!
