Troop 109

This is a  page for Boy Scout Troop 109's can recycle schedule.

The last day to sign up for the next can schedule rotation is Saturday, January 9th. New schedules will be printed that weekend and given out at the January 14th scout meeting. If I do not have your name as wanting to be on the schedule by January 9th, you will NOT be on the next schedule. I also need to know any dates you are NOT available to work.

If you CANNOT make a certain already scheduled date, please let me know NO LATER THAN THREE DAYS IN ADVANCE. I will do an all-call for your time slot via THIS SITE. If someone can help you by taking your time, they will CONTACT YOU directly. If no one contacts you, the time slot will be your responsibility.Once I send out the all-call, the rest is up to you. Please let me know about changes so that I can post them here.

If you are stuck on who to ask to take your place, the following scouts have let me know they are interested in being on the "on-call" list: RJ, Adam F, and Joe F. If you are not listed here, but would like to be, email me and I will be happy to put you on the list. If you are listed here, and don't want to be, let me know.

One last VERY IMPORTANT NOTE!: Some of you are still not signing in the log book. If you do not sign in, I don't know if you showed up or not. If I don't know if you were there, I can't report to Mr. M that you showed up for your shift, which means you may not get credit for your time. Please make sure that you and your partner sign in the book. I need to know you took your hours, otherwise I could assume you have not, and the time ALL goes to the other scout. Think of it as a job...if you punch in (sign in) you get paid, if you don't punch in, payroll has no clue you are due the money. If your partner does not show, please write "No show" next to their name so I know to give you both hours.

Also, please coordinate the Tuesday/Friday can schedule with the scout you are doing it with BEFORE the day you are scheduled. There are many different school schedules being used between Shaw and Millbury JR/SR High and private schools, as well as parent work schedules for rides. In the past a scout has shown up to do their can shift and it was all done by their partner because they didn't coordinate times around ride and schedule availability. Please talk to each other in advance. If your partner cannot make it at the time you can, you need to figure it out. No scout should take the full two hours because they can get there before their partner, and thus claim both hours. If a scout claims the full two hours because their partner cannot get to the cans until a parent is available to drive them after their job, then the scout who did the cans just did his work AND the other scout's...and the pay is split in half. Work TOGETHER!

Thanks!
Karen
