This is my twelfth year teaching third grade at Spofford Pond School.
Prior to that I taught first and second grades. I enjoy teaching and seeing
kids experience the "Ah hah" factor in their learning. I want to encourage
students to tap into their creativity by being "generators of solutions,"
"imaginative thinkers," and "masters of questions." Every day is different
making my job interesting yet challenging, and me eager to come back for more..
Always try your hardest. Be a good listener, take a chance, and be proud of
your work (the process and the product). Take responsibility for your own
learning by being prepared for class, participate on a regular basis, and
respect others' opinions. Be respectful of your classmates so that everybody
feels comfortable and confident to learn and grow as a third grade student.
